That's a big part of the problem around here (Staten Island) seems a decent yard is an urban legend, we've heard of them but no one has ever seen one. The mechanic at my yard works part time and there has to be 300 boats. I have been waiting since April and he still can't say when he will get to me. I think the nearest decent yard is in south Jersey. Don't think the yard has the tools either because they were going to pull the strut and send it out to be done. If I go the South Jersey route I might as well fly you in Bruce it would cost about the same after I figure fuel and a short haul.
