Patrick,

A couple spam notes.

First, warn everyone on the board that the quickest way to increase spam is for someone to click on links in the spams. The spammer can see which spam spawned the hit and will post more in that location.

Second, is there a way to capture the IP address(es) of the spammer? If so, can you block those IP's from posting?

My gut tells me that you're going to have to adopt a password protected site, but I'll take a look and see if WebBBS has any spam blocking options that aren't too draconian.
