Cape May/Canyon Club directions

I'm driving from Kent Island, MD to the Canyon Club in Cape May to fish with Doug on Friday am. Mapquest is telling me to take 295-40-55. Is that the best way? I figure 4 hours from KI--is that about right? I've never driven from 95/295 down to Cape May and would like to save as much time as possible. Thanks.
