Peter, we're all in the same situation. Some have replacsd with stainless, others with aluminum. I know of no one who has put in a new fiberlass one with Ethanol resistant resins, although there has been talk of such tanks being considered. Don't remember if it's Lee Dana or Bertram who was talking about making them. Some were experimenting with cutting the tops off their tanks, cleaning and recoating and/or gelcoating, but that is experimenting and as of now, not a sure thing solution. That plus the price of fuel has slowed down the season for many. Given the price of everything, outboards included, diesels are becoming more of a consideration if repowering is a must. There's no cheap way out, but a gas replacement really demands a tank replacement as insurance for your investment. Walter
