That teflon packing was gooey and sticky.,.,there was no way in the world it wasnt going to work.,.,and it worked very well.,.,this is my 6th season and i havent had to touch anything ,soooooooo I really dont have a clue as to what you guys are talking about or the failure of the products non performance .,.,.,.,., I would attribute the products non performance as some form of human error.,.,.,in bedding and seating it.,.,what else could it be.,.,?
