Okay, got it now. Alum strips welded to base of tank going lenghtwise, maybe a few areas left open for water to drain. Similair in design to the Lightening Shack, except it looks like he used poly strips bonded to tank. Maybe better drainage that way.

Last question (I think anyway), Did you secure to stringer's, I could add a few tabs and bolt. I guess you would have to as the tank shouldn't be moving.

Thanks for the help, and the link to the pics. I rather figure it out now and realize potential issues before the install.
