Ed....We're doing it purely as a precaution...new tank now vs. risk of ruined engines plus still needing a new tank later, if the dominant theory turns out to be correct. Neither of us were having any engine problems at the end of last season with our non-ethanol (at that time) Jersey gas. Damned if I want to spend the money, but Bill and I agonized all winter over the question and finally decided to pull the trigger on new tanks. Plus, I hope to move up in a year or two and the new tank should make the boat a lot more marketable. I've noticed over the past 6 months that the number of B28's for sale on Yachtworld has almost doubled. Bet we can guess why.
