Don't know about the teleflex in mechanical. All I've seen in helm pods are the old Panish style, single lever morse (modified), Kobelt (modified) and the Solo controls advertised on the links page here.
My decision to use the Kobelt came from an upgrade a friend was doing on a Jersey Cape from mechanical to electronic, You can find the Kobelt pretty easy used or new. Modifying the unit requires only building a bracket.
All the new stuff I've seen has been electronic.
