John....I have a 76 B28 in Brick at Baywood Marina. They pulled my tank a few weeks ago and I'm waiting for delivery of the new aluminum tank. Did not have an opportunity to get dimensions. Bill G. is berthed next to me with his 73 B28. His tank has been delivered and is in process of being installed. He told me a few days ago that we're losing about 20 gallons in the translation, due to a different "V" shape on the bottom. The marina is also figuring out how to best support the cockpit deck with the new arrangement. I've printed out and sent them copies of the recent tank-coating thread here, as well as the "How to install..." article on Yachtsurvey.com (Pascoe)just to give them some good quality target references.
