I have read it is the filters getting bogged down with a slush of Alcohol Water and I think Alum. Anyway the slush don't pass the filter and screw up the motor.

Question? The alcohol sucks up the water in the fuel tank at the station, like dry gas does. Now the station has the fuel and water in solution, how does the water seperator work, and would the shutoff work? My guess it don't and it won't. We just get fuel saturated with water.
