I said it would happen, and now it is. As Rawleigh said, first change your source. Second, change all your fuel filters and keep spares. Racor makes one for gas that has a bottom drain for water removal. I understand there is one on the motor that might need to have an outboard mechanic to get to. If you have access to your tanks, either drain or try to suck out a sample from its very bottom. I don't know if stuff like drygas does anything with ethanol laced fuel.
Marinas and gas stations are SUPPOSED to have special filters that shut off their pumps when they come in contact with water. I am sure they have already figured out how to bypass those.
Call your outboard dealer. I am sure you aren't the only one with the problem in your area. We'll be hearing more about this as the season goes on. Wish I had better news. Walter
