Alrighty then, seems the concensus is against foam. It is an Aluminum tank and not particuliarly crazy about the idea of foaming, as I saw the foam was wet upon removal of ole fibertank. However, with the Coal Tar Epoxy coating and proceedure given I figured it was fairly easy, proven method.

So time to rethink the install, I have a week or so till tank is done.

-What I did like about the foam is it supported the whole bottom end of the tank.

Thanks, I will rethink the foam and bedding idea.

Alum sitting on rubber, I was under the impression that was a Huge No-No as the two reacted especially in the presence of water, similiar to the cutless and shaft. Maybe that is why it is being glued in place to eliminate the water factor.

Thanks again
