I looked at several boats before I bought my present one.. several had 3208's.. these engines are no longer made but with literally thousands out there parts will be available for a long time. These are heavy for the output, but are highly regarded. They are called "throw away" engines because the cylinders are not sleeved, but don't let this deter you since they can be rebuilt. If you are not already a visitor there go to www.boatdiesel.com and read all about them.. I just looked and there are 34 pages of posts about these specific engines. A proven workhorse!
