If common sense was dictated, the Coast Guard would at least issue a safety bullitin. I suppose that would offend the EPA (or the varous states EPAs).

As others have said, action will wait unitl the first (second, maby third?) explosion/serious injury/death before something is done.

Of course, the "solution" will be to create legislation mandating boaters only use ethanol compatible fuel tanks, hoses, etc and replace existing tanks, etc prior to a certian date rather than allow non-ethanol fule to be pumped at the dock.
