Did anyone expect a different answer from a government agency?

"The Coast Guard will continue to work cooperatively with the boating industry on resolving this issue but there are very powerful forces to overcome."

Yea, the farmers and oil lobbyists and the payoffs they carry.

This is a prime example of why no one can depend on the government stooges under any administration to do the right thing.
