Calling Gerry S, what a day.....

Gerry,
As your probably aware, I never made it to the boat today.
On the way down this a.m. I was pulled over on 95, I presummed for going to fast in a construction zone, but never got that far.When the HP took my license back to his car a few minutes later two other cars arrived with guns drawn and I was asked to get out.
Cuffed they told me there was an outstanding warrant for me which was impossible, but arguing with a cop on the side of the road don't work.
Hauled off to the county jail I called my lawyer and he bolted down to find out what was going on.
(It didn't hurt that I have both his engines down for repair)Turns out someone has my name and drivers license number as their ID and was arrested in Dec. for assault with a deadly weapon, posted bail and skipped, thus the warrant.
My lawyer had them pull up the arrest picture and prints and they of course didn't match and I was released.
When I got to the impound lot to pick up the truck it looked like a hurricane hit it. Missing were the 4 hand guns I carry, a few knives, my cell phone and some cash.
The cops have everything but the cell phone and don't know where its at.
I will be down tomarrow and I will take my wife's cell phone with me.
