I had that same conversation with people at Bertram over 8 years ago. Our 31 was just plain too labor intensive to build now. It would be prohibitively expensive.

The 36 has grown on me. Though I have not seen one in person yet, I am looking forward to it. I would sure as heck like a ride on one in 3-5' seas. She looks to be a well thought out boat with a very sensible layout, and built like a brick. If I could afford a boat like that, she would be one of the ones up for consideration.

I am glad to see Bertram riding high again. The company had been the victim of thinly funded short sighted owners as I recall, and Ferretti does seem to have changed all that. I say hooray!

It is good to see them doing well.
