Bought a 20 year old half tower for my 25B. It was corriosion pitted and had the milky staining.
I started with 600 grit, then 1200 then 2000 wet sanding. Then Colenite metal cleaner with a buffer as I could.
It all cleaned up better than I expected, but whats funny is some pieces cleaned up better than others, some almost look new, but I would think all from the same stock you would get the same results.
