Yes- but I don't see anyone saying anything from either party smart enough or with an "even close" solution that I'd want to vote for. The Federal, State and local governments are wallowing in the newfound income derived from the taxes on the higher priced fuel, that's why you're not hearing bigtime complaints by any of them. All I'm being told is basically "get used to it, as there are no short term solutions". Meanwhile I'm paying 84¢ a gallon more for a gallon of regular in NY than my daughter is paying in western North Carolina. We don't have a fuel problem, we have a major credibility problem...with corporations and the politicians who depend on them for funding their campaigns. The only guy who has ever spoken up on that has been John McCain and they crapped all over him for it. Walter
