What makes any one think that oil companies and our government, (currently being run as a subsidiary of the oil companies), WANT any more oil on the world market?

Are they not enjoying record profits due to the current oil crisis?

What would happen to their profits if all the oil in Iraq was suddenly easy to bring onto the world market? Or oil form Kashistan, Iran, Venezuela, Columbia or even the Gulf of Mexico?
Meantime the big oil companies have thirty years of inventory on hand as reserves already.
