Steve,
First the government only serves the greater good for its own, i.e. politicians, lobbyists and big business.Second, ethanol is affecting and will affect a much greater area than just fiberglass boat tanks.
Any gas internal cumbustion engine from a weed wacker on up that is not designed to run ethanol (80%), is already having problems.
Visit the lawnmower, car and other shops in the states that have been pushing ethanol.Repairs are up.
Why is nobody protesting besides us?
For the repair shops its a hugh money maker and they won't let on and most important, "the majority of Americans are just fat, dumb and lazy who rely on the 6 o'clock news to inform them".
They really have no idea at all what ethanol does to rubber parts and how it dissolves things. And really could care a less if they did.
With the war, high gas prices, inflation fears, rising interest rates, soaring deficit, NSA phone recordings and just about anything else fills the news and so they accept the ethanol because they are told it will start to help wean us off imported oil and is good for emissions.
Yea! Lets wave the flag while we bend over and take it up the a**.
God, I miss the simple days of Clinton getting a hummer in the oval office hallway and my night mares of Janet Reno comming at me dressed in a g-string holding a box of rubbers.
