flip....the main thing is if the boat sits in salt............inboards are an obvious advantage.....the thing i like ,and ive been on many of both, is inboard V8s feel and sound very different............much less tinny much more low rumble......not important to many but is to me....especially after owning a bunch of outboard and I/O boats.......clear transom is nice............center of balance.....scuppers that are actually out of the water....i could go on.......randall
