Hell I was just gonna mention how I pulled mine out using the same method, come-a-long on the gunnels.
I didn't cut thru tank though to attach though, I clamped some steel strips along the back flange and attached chain there. Mine did not come out quite so easy. I had to get a scissor jack and give a bit more persuasion to get it to move, but its out.
Anybody else think about cutting the top off and tossing an outboard on it for a "funky dinghy". Could have a Bertram Fuel tank races at the next rendezvous.
