We just put in the Yanmar 315s this season and our tank held 170 gallons. That was probably adequate but with all the enthanol concerns and the fact that we previously had gas engines, we just didn't want to take any chances and figured we may as well do this now while we had the deck ripped out anyway. We were also able to go from 170 gals to 230 gals which was nice. The tank was built by Nautic Marine in Florida and it cost $1,800. We just figured that this was a relatively small expense in terms of the entire diesel repower and will give us some added range and peace of mind.
