In Response To: fibreglass tank removal (bob fioresi)

Bob, I'm begining to feel your pain.

My 72-B35 has a FG tank which is about to go through its first year with ethanol

I'm replacing the old fram water seps with Racor & plan on keeping an eye on what's happening.

The previous owner had added an aux alumimun tank which had a leak. After repiaring the damage I have a very nice front bulkhead which is only 5yrs old and is 3/4" ply with 3-5 layers of fg. Beautiful work, I can't stand the thought of cutting it.

On the bright side, if I have to replace my tank I'll up it to 350 or 400 gal. At least I can gian some range from the pain of replacing.

Good Luck with your replacement.

br,
JohnD
