Thanks for kind words Mike H, I agree with John that's it's a bad time to be selling a big block gas boat, but the Throttle Body Fuel Injection engines are pretty stingy on fuel. I fished a 3 day tournement afew years ago(one of the last times I fished)ran 120 miles total, never shut down the engines, 8 hours of trolling each day, ran up and back at 30mph and burned a total of 110 gallons of fuel in 3 days. Not bad for a 14,000 pound boat(weight on certified DOT scales)
John, the picture was taken after heavy rains in a marina on the ICW, hence the funny colored water. The boat has been used but never abused and never been put away wet. As for the red 1969 express in the Keys, I wouldn't want to be sitting under that black top in 95 degree sun, and red paint in Fl does not stand up very well to Ultra Violet rays, but that's what 47K buys.
All I care about is that the boat goes to someone who really knows what an original 31 hull is,can do and likes the classic old Bertrams.
