Turns out the 3/8" barbs were a perfect fit!

(Walter, your point re: screw-on fittings is well taken but I'm satisfied with an in-kind swap of the filters at this point. I hope to splash her this week.)

The B28's dinette can be converted into a double berth. Or a decent work bench...
