Thanks Tom. The cellcore vacuum bagged will be strong and a lot lighter than the Bertram deck. One thing I will say for Bertram they make it strong. It's 1 " thick but a little heavy even though is closed cell core. I have no regrets. One thing about down here in this part of the state . No good glass people. Too many bums and unreliable. All the good ones retired. Oh there are a couple good boat yards that will gladly do it but seems like they will not touch anything under a $14,000 job. So they bid so high they scare you to China. I think if my time permitted I would of gone the Nida Core deck route but to duplicate what Bertram did in looks would not be easy. That vaccum bagged glass especially vinylester is the only way to go if you want maximum strength and minimum weight.Great products now a days."Fish on" now as I wait for my winch to get back from the factory now. Remember as you go through this project don't hesitate to ask when even the slightest doubt occurs. Those panels aren't cheap. No question is a dumb question.
Fixed my fuel guage last night. For some strange reason during the re do the top end (full tank )adjustment on the air sender was way off. Adjusted it and it worked. So be prepared after everything is tore down all items must be checked one by one. Sometime I think the clip board days but awh this is only for fun! Cheers... Dave K
