I thought you had to drop a 5 gallon bucket tied to a stern cleat for a big b35 to pull to one side-lol.
What I have is a Raymarine L1250 plus 10 inch screen sounder/chart plotter with the dsm 250 digital box and the 1000 watt through the hull.
I have used it off shore as well as in very shallow here in the Chesapeake-never looses bottom unless the boat is 2/3rds out of the water. The new 600 watt flushmount with temp sensor sounds cool. The through the hull doesnt have a temp sensor unfortunately. I would probably go that way if I had it to do over.
