Steve, the last page of the report usually has a lot of disclaimers about your survey. Did the broker join you and the surveyor up? You should never use the brokers surveyor, that's my opinion. For future reference, remember that a marine "surveyor" takes no test either county, state or federal. Anyone can claim to be a marine"surveyor". There is no oversite by any agency including consumer groups. The pictures show a real bad situation. You asked if there is any legal recourse, i would think that Vic Roy could steer you in the right direction. Good Luck
