Ron - I apoligize. I got a little frisky on that one, and what I really meant was "many" are whores, certainly not all. My legal profession has gone mostly to shit since I was admitted to the bar in 1969. Lawyer advertising did it to us. When you have 95% of the lawyers chasing 5% of the revenue, things get ugly. To this day, 5% of the lawyers, mostly the good ones, make 95% of the revenue. I served for many years, gratis, on the board that enforced legal ethics, and finally quit in disgust. Instead of a handfull of serial offenders that neglected their clients' business, advertising and chasing a buck resulted in huge numbers of lawyers stealing money from their clients. I lay the blame at the feet of the U.S. Supreme Court which legalized lawyer advertising in a case out of KY years ago. Opened the floodgates to stealing to support the advertising habit.
Anyhow, again please accept my deep regrets for painting with too wide a brush.
