Stopped by a couple times on Sunday. You were not around down at the boat.

Well here are the numbers for the test run on Sunday in the Ditch- rpms/n.m.p. hour:

1800/15.65
2400/20.87
2800/24.34
3000/26.08
3380/29.56

This is essentially an empty boat - two guys and 65 gallons of fuel. As such, its about 2500 lbs. or so light of fighting weight. Measured with a handheld so numbers are approximate. Engines did not run out of power. May have just run out of throttle cable.

I am over propped, and expect final number to be a something around 2 knots or so shy of the above, perhaps more, depending on whether I am out of throttle.

Engines are far less "social" than the gas, especially at idle. The stiff new engine mounts plus the faster spinning 4 blade props make it feel, relative to the gassers, like sitting in a race car in which you can feel the rumble. Of course, we had all the hatches off to monitor the engines, so the noise significantly enhanced the feel. One engine, at idle, is 4.5 mph (not knots). At speed, smooth as glass.

I am heading down to the 51st state - P.R. - for a almost a week starting Wednesday. Probably try to run back to Bolivar the following weekend.
