On the inspected vessels you are mostly correct. However for those few of us that do have military hulls with the fire rated fiberglas we can squeek by. Of course there are add ons that would probably disqualify us from inspected status. Is is not a good business decesion anyway to try to cram more than 6 passnengers on a 31 anyway, unless you running illegals and nothing applies there any way Ha!So a 31 as an inspected vessel is very remote indeed.
I do have the fire retardent fiberglass hull with 6 inch wide stringers. My 2 cents worth.. Dave K
