That is all true, but biodiesel is really good stuff. Unlike Ethanol it does have redeeming qualities other than acting as an Oxegenate. I have been running it in my tractor for over a year and a half, and in my 2006 F250 truck since I got it in October. It is a natural lubricant which even in percentages as low as 2-5% replaces the lubricity that is lost to the Ultra Low Sulphur Fuel that came on board January 1, 2006. My diesels run so quiet on B100 that you would think that they were gassers. Even B20 is substantially quieter. The smell of the fuel and the exhaust is much more pleasant. It is also non toxic in B100 form and is a great parts cleaner. In lower blends like B20 it may not be a problem with older rubber parts.
