In Response To: Raymarine Electronics (Kevin Saer)

I have a completely original bridge and a Raytheon C-120 mounted on the port side all of the way to port against the coaming, facing toward the helmsman. I removed the original anchor light in order to move the C-120 as far to port as possible, because I did not want to obstruct a Simrad autopilot that is mounted on the vertical face of the bridge just to port of the gearshifts. This works out very well - the C-120 is easy to read from almost anywhere on the bench seat, and it is easy to reach the buttons from the helm so long as you don't mind using your left hand. (My compass is to starboard in the original location.)
One caution: Although the magazine testers have said that the C series is easily readable with polarized sunglasses, I end up taking polarized glasses off if I really want to see what it is saying.
