Peter,

This is an excellant post and you raise some very interesting questions. I dare say that no one in either the government side (EPA etc.) or the oil companies have done much in the way of finding out the answers to such questions. I for one am going to shoot these questions and others I have out to the folks Capt. Patrick posted the other day and see if there is any response.
