Walter; Not 100% sure. I have an alum filler neck,ground block and the fittings all go into alum. Will bang and dig closer this week end. The tank is glassed over but the top has strengh points to add regity {opps} to the tank. Looks like alum, sounds like alum. Digger is a 1978 FBSF.
