Dean,

Are yours aluminum?. Mine are and they looked like crap. They were not dented or anything, but the finish was just flaked all to hell. I contacted High Tide marine to get prices for a new set of 4 and they about blew me off my chair with the price. I pulled the old ones off and sanded them down to metal, put 2 coats of zinc chromate on them and then finished them off with a white clossy enamel. They look great.
