The last time I saw one that big was as a kid in an East Texas marsh. I was messing around with a bow, shot all my arrows around him, never hit him, then he wouldn't let me have them back! Had to hike home to get my gun, he was still there when I got back - bad move for the snake. I got the arrows back!
