Matt,

You can do what Capt. Dana suggested but my experience with the wood cores decks is plan on some near future date to buy a whole new deck from Bertram or Glasstech. I did just that with my 31 and am well pleased. New cores are composite non water absorbing (Clossed cell) and will last a lifetime. Lighter too!Nidacore is even lighter and that's what I made my engine boxes out of. Extremely strong and light. Usually a repair will last a couple years untill new wood adjacent rots out. So your just buying time but it will work for a while. Dave K
