Bruce,

I stand corrected. For some reason I thought it would damage the internals of the engine if the suppression agent were sucked in. (Nevermind that there was a fire in there, so otherwise the engine should be toast!) But in the event of an accidental discharge (no fire, just a screwup) it would wreck the engine as an added consequence.

But I forgot that it would also suck the suppression agent out of the compartment, effectively wrecking its ability to do its job!
