Sorry-- I missed this, plus I don't stay in hotels in DC, just work there and go to conferences now and then.

Randall- the Best Western is across the street from where I work and about 1 block from the Pension building where your show is. Seems like a nice place--I've been to the Irish bar downstairs more times than I can count. Nice folks. Your hotel is also in Chinatown. Not NY Chinatown, but DC Chinatown--not bad.

UV- I've been to conferences at the Omni Shoreham in Woodley Park--seems like a nice place. Plus, there's a Hilton across the street that seems nice (and Murphy's--good bar). There's also a Hilton on Cap. Hill that seems nice. If you want to break the bank, try the Four Seasons in Georgetown. Lots of people stay at the Marriot in Crystal City (VA). Right across the river, on the Metro, and lots cheaper.
