You did not say how old your boat was, so my comments might not be completely appropriate.

I recently bought a 1983 Bert 33.. when we hauled for the hull survey my surveyor.. whose opinion I trust without reservation.. found quite a few dime to nickel sized blisters scattered over the wetted surface. His comments were...

1 - They were all probably at equilibrium and been the same for years, and

2 - Repairing blisters not a project to be undertaken without a lot of research and study, and is often the cause of more problems than it cures.

His advice was to look carefully during the next haulout.. and see if there appears to be any progerssion. He doubted there would be any changes.
