I had used a SunShower, just a 5 gal. plastic bag with clear on one side and black on the bottom. Has a platic hose with a shower head on the end and a crimp on/off valve. Fill it at the dock, put it on the rear of the FB and the sun heats it up, gravity is the pump. Just stand between the engine boxes and rinse off. It had been under one of the v berth bunks when AJ took her wild ride during Katrina, so after 8 months probably dust. Still no new word on AJ's repairs. 8 months. Probably the first ride I'll get on a B31 will be at TSL in Panama in June.....
AJ has a shower drain in the aft stb. corner of the head. I've been meaning to install a hot/cold shower - one of the retractable ones - in the fiberglass bubble behind the commode in the head. I'd use a simple pressure pump and replace the pump faucets in the head and galley with regular faucets. Have the orginal 18 gal. f.g. tank. For hot water, I have a little stainless flash electric water heater in the attic that is about the size of a liter Coke bollte. Was in our kitchen at home before we remodeled and added a big water heater for that end of the house. But it will continously produce hot water of at least 120 degrees at house pressure flows. Draws about 1500 watts. I've got plenty of 120v power with the 6.5 KW Phasor. Maybe I'll get around to it one of these days. The original head is pretty much waterproof other than putting the roll of toilet paper up.
