Russ, I'm in the process of repowering my '82. I was thinking of going with the 305's and had 3 estimates. They were all significanty higher than the ones i had with the 270's. There seems to be a whole lot more modifications made and that runs into a lot of $$. I was told i got the last 270's from the factory and that was back in November when i ordered them. The 305's are sweet, but the incramental cost of the installation was a little too much. I was receiving quotes from 80k-100k all in, but as you know you always have to add a buffer.
