My Norcold went down several years ago and I couldn't find a replacement to fit the hole without modifying the cabinets. Ended up pulling the unit out, did some testing and found the power supply to be bad. Ordered another for about $150 bucks, cleaned her up real good and stuck it back in. Still working today. If you do have to replace it, I recommend an AC / DC unit so you don't have to run the genset every time you are away from the dock. If you do decide to attempt to repair it, I have the name of the company that sells the parts on my boat. Let me know.
