Bruce & I repowered a Phoenix a while back and the owner used something just like this touting its superior properties. It would have been a piece of cake to soundown the engine room with the engines out. After we delivered the boat he couldn't deal with the turbos singing and wanted real soundproofing installed. I turned down the job. Notice there is no reference to the amount of sound dampening on their web site compared to conventional soundproofing materials.
