I couldn't find anybody that would finance a "66 model for purchase or repower strictly because of the age of the boat.

May have been because of the condition of the boat, which was not bad but not updated. May be easier to finance a repower with an updated boat, but I think most finance companies shy away becasue of the age, they just don't understand the 31.
