Capt Dana,

The black rubber is Sikaflex 292 to bed the windows in place. See the tips section for glazing windows...

Be sure to use epoxy to bond the laminate to the bulkhead. Preferably both sides, but at least the exterior.

Make a pattern for your window and route to that so that both windows come out the same. A round over bit does the exterior & a rabbet bit for the inside undercut. Several coats of epoxy on the raw edges.

You'll need to sand all with 150 grit and prime with a couple coats of Awlgrip 545 epoxy primer. I'd paint with Imron & your supplier can mix to match the Awlgrip Oyster color.

A muffin fan, pulling from the cabin will ventilate the head & can be run continuously because of low power demand and quietness.

Settling in here is going to a long ongoing project... I'm pretty much back on line with all of shop, but still numerous boxes to unpack & organize... Working on a livewell for John Patnovick at the moment. Gonna' be rainy and overcast this whole week, so not much will be accomplished with my SunRez materials.
