glassing bulkheads

when epoxying or glassing in the back engine compartment bulkhead how many layers of
roven-woven is required ? and also when reinstalling new strut backing pads can one use 5200 if epoxy is not avalible ? or can you use polyster resin with a layer of bi-axel between the hull and pad??? or polyster with cabosil mixed to make the bedding compound ???
